Magnús kemur með mér á morgun. Veriði sterk!! (Magnús will be coming with me tomorrow. Be brave!)Hahaha. This is a reference to Some Children Are Their Own One-Man-Show. Magnús is my Icelandic teacher’s 8-year-old son. He’s probably one of those children Ritalin was invented for.

But I am so disappointed with the number of classes I didn’t make it into. UE Mittelhochdeutsch, UE Kultur- und Literaturtheorie and UE Sprachgebrauch; I mean come on, I set 400 points on each and listed three or four alternative times I could attend and now they tell me I’m on the waiting list? Gaaah. [...]
